Lift Kit Installation FAQ's
The amount of lift that can be safely installed depends on your vehicle's make and model, drivetrain, suspension design, steering geometry, and how you plan to use it. A properly designed lift often requires supporting components to maintain ride quality, handling, reliability, and tire clearance.
At Georgia Custom Trucks, we evaluate each vehicle individually and recommend the right lift height and supporting modifications for your goals. Give us a call or stop by the shop, and we'll be happy to discuss your options and build a setup that's both safe and functional. Check out a few of our suspension options here.
Properly designed lift systems with matched shocks and spring rates can maintain or even improve ride quality. Poorly matched components can negatively affect performance and comfort. At Georgia Custom Trucks, we carefully select components for each build to ensure proper fit, function, and ride quality. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and will work with you until your build is done right and you’re fully satisfied.
Yes — we’ll recommend tire sizes and wheel offsets and handle any necessary trimming or flare work. We sell and install nearly every brand of wheels and tires available. Read more about our wheel and tire fitment process here.
