We Know Fitment.
We Know Trucks.

With over 50 years of combined experience in the aftermarket wheel and tire industry, our team understands that fitment, offset, and proportions aren't just specs — they define how your truck looks, handles, and performs.

03

Proportions That Matter

Your wheel and tire choice can make or break the look of your truck. We guide you on the correct ply rating, load range, offset, and overall proportions to keep everything balanced.

Understanding
Wheel Offset

Offset determines how far in or out your wheels sit relative to the fender. It's one of the most important — and most misunderstood — aspects of a wheel build.

Positive Offset

Clean & Tucked

+10mm to +44mm

The higher the offset, the more the wheel sits toward the center of the vehicle — similar to factory positioning. The tire sidewall tucks inside the fender for a clean, stock-style appearance that's safe and understated. Ideal if you want an OEM-plus look with minimal fuss.

Zero Offset

Flush & Level

+6mm to -6mm

For the flush look. Mostly seen on leveled trucks, zero offset aligns the tire sidewall with the edge of the fender for a wide, planted stance that's become one of the most popular builds in the game. Clean without going over the top.

Negative Offset

Aggressive & Wide

-10mm to -76mm

Built to stand out. Often seen on show trucks and larger lift builds, negative offset widens your stance dramatically. A good rule of thumb: go as wide as you go tall. A 6-inch lift pairs well with a negative offset that adds 2–3 inches per side — improving handling, reducing body roll, and giving your truck a more stable, commanding feel.

Choosing the Right
Tire Rating

Not all tires are built for the same job. Load rating determines how much weight a tire can safely carry — and choosing the wrong one can compromise both safety and performance.

XL

Extra Load — Street Trucks

The minimum recommendation for street trucks running larger wheels like 22s or 24s. XL tires can handle the weight of a half-ton, but they're not designed for demanding work. Good for daily drivers who prioritize ride quality over heavy-duty capability.

P-metric XL tires are branded "Extra Load" or marked XL in their size description (e.g., P235/75R-15 XL). Euro-metric extra load tires use XL or RF branding (e.g., 305/50R20 XL). HL-prefix tires are rated even higher than standard XL tires of the same size.

LT / E

Light Truck / Load Range E — The Standard

The gold standard for truck owners who actually use their trucks. LT / Load Range E tires are 10-ply construction, built to handle serious weight and abuse — whether you tow, haul, go off-road, or all three.

LT-metric, LT-flotation, and LT-numeric tires are branded with their load range on the sidewall (e.g., LT245/75R-16 E or 31x10.50R-15 C). Note: LT tires with section widths of 305mm or wider are rated at reduced maximum load pressures.

How to Read
a Metric Tire Size

That string of numbers and letters on your sidewall tells you everything about your tire — if you know how to read it.

205 / 55 R 16
Tire Width
205 mm

Sidewall-to-sidewall width in millimeters. Wider means more contact patch and a bolder stance.

Aspect Ratio
55%

Sidewall height as a percentage of tire width. 205 × 0.55 = 112.75mm of sidewall. Lower = sportier. Higher = more cushion.

Construction
R — Radial

Radial is the modern standard, with cords running bead-to-bead for better handling and fuel efficiency.

Wheel Diameter
16 inches

The wheel size the tire is designed to mount. Must match your rim exactly.

Forged vs Flow Formed
vs Cast Wheels

How a wheel is made directly affects its weight, strength, durability, and price. Here's what you need to know before you choose.

Premium Tier

Forged

  • Strongest wheel construction available
  • Lightest option by weight
  • Dense, continuous grain structure
  • Fully customizable to spec
  • Highest price point
  • Requires specialized CNC machining

A solid aluminum billet is subjected to extreme compressive forces, creating an exceptionally strong and lightweight wheel. Best for performance-focused builds and show trucks where weight savings matter.

Performance Tier

Flow Formed

  • Stronger than cast, lighter too
  • Excellent strength-to-cost ratio
  • Great for performance applications
  • Not as strong as full forged
  • More limited style options

A hybrid process that combines casting and forging techniques. The barrel is rolled and stretched under heat, refining its grain structure and boosting strength. A smart middle ground between cost and performance.

Entry / OEM Tier

Cast

  • Most affordable option
  • Huge range of styles available
  • Widely used and proven at OEM level
  • Heavier than forged or flow formed
  • Lower strength and ductility
  • Less fatigue resistance over time

Molten aluminum is poured into a mold and cooled. Cost-effective and widely available, cast wheels are a solid choice for everyday trucks where maximum performance isn't the priority.
